The Boiler Upgrade Scheme offers generous grants to help you switch to a more sustainable heating system.
This scheme provides £7,500 towards a new heat pump (air source, ground source, or water source). There’s also 0% VAT on supply and installation costs.
This scheme is part of the UK government’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting energy efficiency.
How it works
You’re eligible for the grant if:
- you own the property, or have permission from the owner
- you don't already have a heat pump at the property
You’re still eligible if you’ve already had funding to make your property more energy efficient, for example, by insulating it.
You’re also eligible for this grant if you build your own house.
